Encountering error while attempting to build/run Android app locally

Hi! I'm looking to run the Android app on my local dev environment, but I'm running into an error. I have followed the instructions provided in the README_OFFLINE.md file. However, when I try to install/run the app in step 4, I get the following error in Android Studio:

Script '/home/user/AndroidStudioProjects/super-productivity/android/app/capacitor.build.gradle' line: 10

A problem occurred evaluating script.
> Could not read script '/home/user/AndroidStudioProjects/super-productivity/android/capacitor-cordova-android-plugins/cordova.variables.gradle' as it does not exist.

which refers to the following block in capacitor.build.gradle:

I'm not seeing a folder called capacitor-cordova-android-plugins anywhere, so I'm not sure how that's generated. I've looked through these PRs which seem relevant, but I'm not having much luck:

Does anyone have any insight into what I'm doing wrong?

I'm also seeing the following error/warning when I run npm run dist:android so that's probably related. Currently trying to figure out why the build is throwing an error.

Node.js version v21.5.0 detected.
Odd numbered Node.js versions will not enter LTS status and should not be used for production. For more information, please see https://nodejs.org/en/about/previous-releases/.
Unknown error: Error [ERR_REQUIRE_ESM]: require() of ES Module /home/user/AndroidStudioProjects/super-productivity/node_modules/@angular/cli/node_modules/yargs/helpers/helpers.mjs not supported.
Instead change the require of /home/user/AndroidStudioProjects/super-productivity/node_modules/@angular/cli/node_modules/yargs/helpers/helpers.mjs to a dynamic import() which is available in all CommonJS modules.

Updated node to v24.11.1 and it's working now. Hopefully this can help anyone else who runs into a similar issue.
