SP and E-ink devices

Like many researchers, I have recently shifted part of my reading habits to an electronic ink (E-ink) device from Bigme, Boox, etc.
These devices have Google Play, I can install SP successfully but obviously I have display problems...
Would it be possible to consider optimization for this type of Android device? A dedicated theme, for example, with black and white and high contrast? 
Thank you in advance for considering these new uses... even if they are still very much in the minority.

Yes, I would accept PRs for this. But I probably won't spent much time on it myself, since it is more of a niche use case.

We probably can achieve much with a custom stylesheet just for e-ink devices.

Okay. I'll take a look. Where do I start if I want to do some testing in this area?

It is true that it is a niche use but less and less in the academic world... without it being massive.

You need some way to target the e-ink devices. Maybe one of those will work:

@media (monochrome) {
  body { background:#FFF; color:#000; }
}

@media (update: slow) {
  body { background:#FFF; color:#000; }
}

Then you need to create a custom scss file and import it into the styles.scss. There is a guide how to start the project for dev in the readme.
