Would there be a way to track percentage of completion of tasks?

I have been using the tool for 2 weeks now, and it has really improved my time tracking and output significantly. One thing that the tool is missing is the ability to assign a percentage of completion for each project/tag.
Would the development team be open to design this feature?

Since the pull request #4723 has been closed without merging, is there another effort on the way to implement this feature?

Maybe there is a need to debate (and, perhaps, vote) for how the feature should integrate in the UI?
