When I setup a Project with GitLab integration i saw this

What exactly is that and how does it work? I espect that this option allows me to sync my estimated time as well as my actual work time of a issue. Is there a way to enforce the sync of the gitlab project because i need to wait a lot of time to get new issues as tasks
