Selecting colors for tags and project

(Sorry if i'm doing any website etiquette wrong, i just made an account to ask this i'm not usually on here)
but is there a way to change the color of tags and projects? currently all my tags are purple which is a bit confusing. since there are settings for colors i thought it might be intended that they could be changed but if i tap on it nothing happens. i'm using the app on android btw.

Hi there! Yes you can. You have to open up the menu, and tap on the 3 dots right next to the tag in question and select settings from the popup menu. There you should be able to change the color. Hope this helps! :)

Thank you for your answer. I'm still a little confudes though.
I tapped on the three dots next to the tag. I tap on Settings. And under Themes the Primary Color, Accent Color and Warn/Error Colors are listed.
Is a menu supoosed to open when i tap on those colors? Because for me nothing happens when i do that.

yes! A color picker is supposed to open when you tap on them. Which android version are you using?

Hi! I'm having the same issue on the desktop application on Windows 11, v16.3.0 - see the screenshot below: The tags do have other colors assigned, but the color for the tags in the sidebar are still purple. Because of that (I'm assuming) the rest of the interface also takes on a purple theme, e.g. the play button at the top.

Edit: Okay, I can see that if you go into the tag's settings, the problem is the theme - the primary color is set to that purple color. This is a bit confusing, though, that a tag would have two separate colors and adopt the theme color rather than its own.
