Create task for past date

How do I create a task for a past date so I can track time usage?

I don't think it's possible. SP seems to be future forward. Even in Todoist, it's impossible to click a past date from a date picker. One has to manually enter it into the input field.

I think the most low effort enhancement would be to add an input field to the date picker. What do you think @johannesjo ?

You can track time in the past. Right click on a task. Click "Time Tracking" and then click "Add time spent for other day".
