How to properly configure a caldav calendar that has no password and username

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to import my syllabus into one of my project. The publicly accessible link works well with my nextcloud calendar, but it fails every time I try it on SuperProductivity. It just keeps warning that caldav is not properly configured.

I just want to ask about how you configure this type of calendar. I'm not certain whether it is a bug or some misconfiguration, any replies are appreciated!

Hi there! Which version of the app are you using and which OS are you on? Also your token is visble in the screenshot, so I removed it.

Thanks. I am not too familiar with the caldav integration myself, but first thing I would check, would be the failing request in the network tab. You get there by pressing Ctrl+Shift+i and then selecting the "Network" from the tab titles. The failing request should be indicated in red.

@janLo do you maybe have any recommendations how we could improve the flow to better guide users through the configuration?

Hi, I just checked it. It turns out that it just not do the request. I happens to have another caldav sync directed to my nextcloud from which I can get a message. But the failed one turns out to not to request at all, which I cannot get any log from it.

Thanks for digging into this!! In this case it probably should be enough to just make all the fields required I think, which in turn requires to to add some enabled setting (which probably also makes sense to have). I'll work on it!
