How to contribute translations?

Hey,

super-productivity seems quite efficient, thank you for your good work.

I would like to contribute and improve the French translation.
Aside from issue #33 , which appears to be outdated, I could not find any information about where translation is happening.
To this effect a word in the README would be nice.

Hi there! Thanks for the kind words and the offer! All translation files can be found here:
https://github.com/johannesjo/super-productivity/tree/master/src/assets/i18n
The en.json is the base file and the french translations can be found in the in the fr.json. You should be able to submit change suggestions from the github web interface, by clicking on the edit pencil icon on the upper right.

If you want a little bit more comfort when working on the translations then you can use babel edit. This requires you to download the translation files to your machine though.

I tried to make some changes in the German translation.
When I open https://github.com/johannesjo/super-productivity/blob/master/src/assets/i18n/de.json and then click on the "Edit" icon (the pen icon) then I get the following message:

You need to fork this repository to propose changes.

Sorry, you’re not able to edit this repository directly—you need to fork it and propose your changes from there instead.

Is this the normal way or are there any missing privileges that prevent this?

I also did not find the "Welcome Tour" in the English language file?

Yes, this is normal. There was a more comfortable tool available in the past (inlang), but it caused many problems, so I had to disable it.

It's not super accessible for non programmers, I know, but currently manually editing via github, is what we got.

I normally also AI translate all missing stuff. I will provide an update later today.
