Hi

I've been using superProductivity for a while now and it is great. I have recently needed to start reporting time spent on projects for my employer as a monthly report. superProductivity ticks all my requirements now except this (and project archiving but that's a sperate issue). Do you have any plans on incorporating a reporting tool?

Hi there! Thanks for the question! What kind of monthly report does your employer expect? (It's already possible to make different types of custom CSV export from the daily summary or form the worklog.)

I need to be able to provide an accurate breakdown of all work performed over a specific period by project/task/sub-task including complete and incomplete activities with tags. A CSV export would work. Essentially I need a time sheet. All the information seems to be in there and I think the UX and UI of superProdcutivity is already much better than the likes of Toggl and Clockify.

I think so. All the detail is already captured. I just need a way to pull out all the information overall a specific time period. I can then run QA and generate a report in a spreadsheet.

At least if you export by date it should be relatively quick to export the data for a full year and then delete all rows in the csv document that you don't need.

You're right. I hadn't really explored the options of the monthly worklog export (I didn't know they were there!) but that should do the trick. Thanks for you help!

Having used this for 4 weeks now specifically for timesheeting not having activity logged against time within the day means I have to go back to Clockify or maybe Kimai. Same issue as #1434. It's really about being able to acccount for hours worked and also ensuring that you have captured your hours worked accurately. Otherwise, your app has better user experience and interface, better timer functionality, great tagging and I really like the end of day evaluation too.
