if you'll check the foundries site you'll find ALLER as a free font. You could read the licence
or you head over to the embed-faq where daltonmaag recommends typekit or custom embeding using the common web-font-formats like EOT, WOFF, SVG and Cufón.

Embedding the Aller font via custom file formats and @font-face isn't a problem at all. The problem starts when you'll try to use the small-caps characters of the font with font-variant: small-caps in your css.
One option is to use the open-type features of css font-feature-settings but this didn't work with the compressed aller font we're using and doesn't have a cross browser syntax at the moment.
An other option is to remap the small-caps characters to the regular character-set with the help of fontsquirrels generator and use it as an extra font. that's that we're currently do and where the bug appears…
