"Extended Graphics" here being the menu borders, wave graphics and text headers, shared between all 3 fonts.
Regardless if the tickbox is on/off, importing full/extended symbol sheet will automatically overwrite the current one, and there is no way to import just the basic symbols from the full sheet without editing the file up.
Potential solution would be for patcher to recognize if imported font will replace current Extended Graphics, and if that's true - prompt the user about Extended Graphics getting replaced and ask the user if they want it or not
