I love TAGGUI, have tagged 40K photos with it, and retagged about half of them with an updated models. Currently I use TagThatPhoto to identify faces. As a consequence, I have descriptions "a woman at the beach..." and separately identifying the woman by a face tag. It would be really cool to use OpenCV to train and identify faces and feed them into the tagging.
At the moment, there appears to be no python program for face identification that is as easy to use as TAGGUI, and indeed many of the better projects haven't been updated in five years or more. I suspect most users of Taggui are also doing facial recognition. I hack the tags by adding a sentence like 'Amy and Barbara are present in this photo' to Microsoft-Florence's tag, where the faces came from TagThatPhoto. But this approach creates a terrible workstream because I use Linux and TagThatPhoto runs only in windows, requiring me to switch computers.
