Generate dialog box wont accept spacebar character unless pasted

Describe the bug
When attempting to use the AI "Generate" dialog, I can't seem to see 'spaces' between words whilst typing questions, pasting text seems to work but is a little counterintuitive

To Reproduce

1. Start the application
2. Click the 'Generate' (Stars/AI) button and you should see the Generate Dialog show up
3. Type a question using spaces in the question - On ubuntu chrome, windows chrome both omit spaces
4. Copy and paste a query from notepad which works as expected

Expected behavior
When typing into the prompt I'd expect spaces to be reflected in the UI and passed through to the API

I also see the issue on what I believe is electron on ubuntu via the snap plugin as well as the online version.
As for anything that intercepts spacebar input I do not, I see the issue directly on this windows machine, on multiple vm's and on a phone.
I can get spaces into the text by copy and paste consistently.
However I have yet to see a scenario where it works as I'd expect.

I have the same issue and it happens when trying to edit Mermaid diagrams as well. I'm using firefox version 149.0.
