Breaking out the parser and decoder into a separate module?

What do you think about breaking out the parser and decoder into separate modules? I'd really like to use this, but don't have any need for actually creating the files.

@jirwin you don't need to create files, you can just write to the stream

Instead of using the pipe, you can write to the parsestream yourself.
