[Question] Explanation for nostr #449

First of all. Hollo iris team, very cool project.
I saw it 1.5 - 2 years ago the first time, and discovered it over gunjs.
My question is, why did you make the switch to nostr from gunjs, what are the reasons, and is gun still viable for social media network development?
I can't seem to find an announcement for the switch to nostr, would appreciate a explanation for your reasons why, and pros and cons.
