Idea: In addition to the GridConverter you could also add a RichRawGridModel implicit class which would allow something like

     val psdmGridContainer: JointGridContainer =  rawGridModel.toPSDM

The RichClass could then take care of all required calls on the converter ... but this may be just a syntactic sugar idea...
