Project failed to run in local environment.

i am facing the server run issue during running the project locally. The is error is " [nodemon] 3.1.0
[nodemon] to restart at any time, enter rs

[nodemon] watching extensions: js,mjs,cjs,json
[nodemon] starting node index.js
Error: MongoParseError: Invalid scheme, expected connection string to start with "mongodb://" or "mongodb+srv://"
[nodemon] app crashed - waiting for file changes before starting... "
Can u pls tell why it coming I am following the readme file steps then also I am facing this issue
