What is the docs issue?

It would be nice to include documents of the internal Provider Registry Protocol API in the Registry API page to allow easier document finding.

For future viewers, the triage feedback was that it is unclear which Registry APIs are meant to be public or private. In general, the documentation seems to be a bit too sparse and likely needs a holistic refresh.

As one of these pages is in the terraform repository (although the other does not seem to be), I'll leave this issue open in this repo. Thanks!
