[feature request] LDAP!

Loving the look of this so far and I'll probably be spinning up an instance tonight to check it out. I'm desperate to move from mattermost for a group project and the only thing stopping me is this doesn't have LDAP.

I've checked the project and it's not listed there (but webhooks is, awesome). Is it something you're actively not interested in or has it just not come across your desk yet?

Hi so far i just didnt really think about it, but i've heard someone asking for it before i believe but thats quite some time ago. i did some research quickly to see how much afford it would be code wise and it seems to be easy and quick to implement surprisingly if your goal is to log-in using ldap-

im just thinking on how i would debug this and test it as i dont have active directory or something on my system. i'd need to look further into this, but DCTS does have a plugin system, maybe i could finally create the UI for it to then make a LDAP plugin.

Yeah, just logging in via LDAP should be enough. I can't think of any reason why you'd need your chat tool to create an LDAP account too, that should be handled elsewhere (IMO).

If it helps, I use a slimmed down version called lldap (https://github.com/lldap/lldap), it has docker containers too if that's your thing. I'm not sure how much that can help with tests though but for getting an environment up it should be plenty.

I'd like to add general OIDC support if possible. Using my family's PocketID accounts would be great.
