table reformat & rst replacement directive

Hello!

I'm ahead of working on larger portion of text for which I'd like to use rst markup...in text I often have a need to use replacement directive to easily insert certain symbols like planetary symbols (e.g. |Sun|). However, when I use such replacement directives within table cells, they confuse the code for reformatting the table, by adding new table cells.

So, the question is if there is some way to be able to use replace directive and somehow automatically reformat the table?
