I'm not getting satisfactory results with UIDesigner and the latest version of fpGUI (v2.0.1) on Linux (see the video):

Hello Fred. Using PasBuild (see docs/INSTALL.txt):

pasbuild compile -p unix,agg

But maybe you didn't use PasBuild?

If you don't use PasBuild, I think you have to add this somewhere: -dAGGCanvas

OK, compiled with -dAGGCanvas using ideU but there is same problem at rendering (resize+move widgets not ok).

Sorry but I did not get how to compile uidesigner using PasBuild.
From INSTALL:txt:

To compile the framework from the project root directory:
Under Linux and FreeBSD run:
pasbuild compile -p unix,agg

Result: $ pasbuild compile -p unix,agg
pasbuild: command not found

Please try with the latest 'develop' branch. I applied some fixes. Only known issue left is that with AggCanvas, the resize handles don't render (not sure why yet), but the widget can be resized like normal. With the native canvas, it seems to work 100% now.

Cause of problems:
With my recent changes, I fixed a lot of rendering pipeline issues, which triggered double update events. That masked a very old bug in UIDesigner. Primarily, there was a missing .UpdatePosition call.

OK, with last commit it is much better without -dAGGCanvas (but not perfect see picture and the title seems incomplete).

Are you ok to give updated uidesigner.prj (I can do it for you)?

Ooops, no sorry, without -dAGGCanvas it is perfect when resizing (but the title of uidesigner form is strange)
The previous picture was when compiling with -dAGGCanvas.

I'll have another go tonight. 😢 I'll update the *.prj file too - thanks for mentioning that.

The token in the title, is because it wasn't built with PasBuild, which automatically substitutes tokens found in resources, with actual values. You'll have to manually update the real value in the include file, if you don't use PasBuild.

[edit] Also the 4 widgets in bottom of palette are not working until you resize the height of form bigger.

But without -dAGGCanvas there is bad rendering when resizing widgets (see picture)

Sorry it is still me...
I did compile uidesigner for Windows but each key pressed is written twice.
Also the main palette-form is not ok when resized.
