I've never seen an issue like that. Is your GOPROXY variable set correctly?

Sorry that the section is not formulated correctly

global variable goproxy
go env GOPROXY https://proxy.golang.org,direct

it is stated in the dockerfile

go env GOPROXY GOPROXY=https://goproxy.io,direct/

I also had to correct the file names in /infra/k8s

adservice.yaml - > ad.yaml cartservice.yaml -> cart.yaml
and others in this directory

adservice.proto -> ad.proto
and others

If you have the opportunity, could you update your existing project to support the framework v.5.9?

I changed GOPROXY in Dockerfile

GOPROXY=https://goproxy.io,direct/
replaced by
GOPROXY=https://proxy.golang.org,direct

the error has changed

also my ide automatically determined the path /usr/bin/git
