Judging by the periodic errors during score downloads resulting from #83, the timer is very much running.

Given that this issue has been endemic for a long time, approaching it will take a new angle of debugging (I have a backlog of adding logging statements), and semifinals is in less than a week, I don't think it'll get addressed by then ☹️

Unfortunately no, I'm not really in a position to put significant time into this right now. ☹️

@meepcode if you're willing, any troubleshooting or debugging you can find relevant to this issue would be greatly appreciated. Any analysis of the cause or reproducibility conditions or whatnot you could add as a comment on this issue. I'm willing to help you set up a local bot instance, but it should be straightforward given the example bot config in the repo. The harder part is emulating a score provider. Any progress is helpful, if nothing else for future reference for me or whoever else finds time, but if you actually find and fix the issue, I will gladly accept a PR which fixes it.

I'd be interested in debugging this, but how can the scoreboard be emulated?

Unfortunately I really don't have a great way to emulate the scoreboard. There's a couple approaches you could try:

• If you have a static mirror of the scoreboard, serve it on a web server, and use the normal HTTP client in code. You might have to change URL patterns depending on exactly how you serve it.
• Write a mock score provider service.
