Installation issue on linux

Hi, i am having trouble running make on the cloned wrk2 on linux. -

I am getting this error: obj/bytecode.o: string table [3] is corrupt on linux

What i did is ran the following :

1. git clone https://github.com/giltene/wrk2.git

2. cd wrk2

3. make

[guycall]

What version of gcc do you have?

gcc --version

gcc (Ubuntu 11.4.0-1ubuntu~22.04.2) 11.4.0

I had the same error on Debian 13 (with gcc v14.2), but worked fine on Debain 12 (gcc v12.2) and Ubuntu 22.04 (gcc v11.4).
