I am unsure about how to deal with locales here, as well as cloud support.

For the i18n, you must change the dev.json like you did, and as a french you can also do the fr :)
Per default if a text is not found in the current locale, we take the one in dev.json.

About cloud files, you missed to change the getFiles function in the provider.tsx.
