Terrain service as Cesium 3D-tiles? #4460
Description
Currently you are providing a terrain service with a Cesium quantized mesh implementation.
You are also providing Cesium 3D-tiles for swissbuildings, swisstlm and vegetation. None of them include the terrain.
Is there any chance you can also provide the terrain as 3D-tiles? Quantized mesh is confirmed here by Sean Lilley, Cesium 3D team lead, to be a predecessor of the 3D tiles. I know that swisstopo is very high tech, so I think this would be aligned with your vision to use state of the art technology :)
Bonus point: It would be so awesome if the terrain could be textured with swissimage!
