Because extending it rather than recreating one for myself will give me a huge boost (around 7 to 8 years of development time) rather than re-creating modals, popovers, sliders, and more by myself. They are not easy 😅! Also, I'm a UIkit user and I don't want to learn a new framework when there are already mature solutions out there. |

@sveltecult Uikit looks kinda dorky tho, I see that you've added a fade-in animation in the 2.0 version in the select item so it looks a llittle bit better than before, but it still looks nothing like the original animation in shadcn. I think the best option would be using radix with inline DOM |
