Unfortunately gerbil and newt are required for the tunneling to work.
Gerbil is necessary because it acts as the "STUN" server and relay
server for the hole punching.

Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding the Clients feature.
I am running Pangolin locally in my home network without Gerbil/Newt, since the Pangolin instance itself forwards traffic to the internal resources. The instance is still reachable via a static public IPv4 address.
However, I realized that without a remote site (network / Newt) it is not possible to create any Private Resources.
Is there a supported way to use the Clients feature without Gerbil/Newt, or is Gerbil/Newt mandatory by design?
If Gerbil/Newt is required:
Is it safe to add Gerbil/Newt afterwards by extending the existing Docker Compose setup, or is a clean reinstallation recommended?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Best regards
Jonas
