Hi Christoph,
I am very happy and willing to contribute this plugin to Kate. However, I've run into a blocker: my KDE Invent account has been blocked for several years, preventing me from logging in. I've already sent an email to the support team a few weeks ago but haven't received any response yet.

Separately, I'm aware that the plugin itself has some existing bugs that need fixing and some potential enhancements.
