Unable to add http insecure server connection to Firefox Browser

Describe the Bug

First time setting up floccus and I was able to add an insecure http nextcloud server address to chrome 142.0.7444.134, Edge 142.0.3595.53, and Brave 1.84.132. All are syncing successfully.

Entering same http server info to Firefox floccus nextcloud url will not connect and displays "You have entered a server that uses an insecure protocol. It is recommended to only use servers with support for HTTPS."

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback by opening this issue.

It could be that you are hitting a network error, that is hidden by the presence of the HTTPS warning. Could you double check for typoes? It could also be that you are using a very high port number that is not supported by the browser, perhaps?

I'll try to help get to the bottom of this with your help ✌️

I disabled HTTPS-Only Mode in Firefox, and then was able to enter the insecure http address to get floccus set up.

Since then Firefox has been syncing smoothly but now I'm experiencing intermittent problems with Brave which seem to be the same as described in this issue: #2089. So far I've been able to fix that error by clicking the "Pull down once" arrow in the Floccus icon options at the top of the browser.
