another question worth considering is to modify the qsub command so that scatter=xxx... I mean that i would prevent from using the same node multiple times

This must be implemented for all three supported schedulers.

I added the additional checkbox requested. It is available only in the case of the PBS scheduler for now.
It will be included in the next release.
