PHP 5.6 won't install on fresh run of vagrant up #580

Howdy!
It seems there are some issues with ppa:ondrej/php and obtaining PHP 5.6 using Ubuntu 14. Also it appears Ubuntu 14 is not well supported any longer.
Issues: I can't execute a simple php echo using current vaprobash config, but it will serve an index.php file just fine. Any thoughts here on why PHP is having issues with current version of vaprobash? Also maybe it's time to update to no longer use Ubuntu 14? Currently when ssh-ing into my vm once vagrant is running it reports 5.5.9 for php --version if this helps at all.
