V2.5.2 will not mount under LMS 7.9.1 'Failing To Load'

Hi, I'm finding that V2.5.2 is not mounting stating 'Failing To Load' under LMS 7.9.1, my hardware does not support LMS 8.x, do you have a repository URL so that I can rollback to an earlier version? Thanking you in advance.

It's all in the git repository here. There are a few built versions here in the Releases section.

Unfortunately you will need to create your own release if you need an earlier version than that. Although of course they are unlikely to work, as the plugin has been kept up to date with changes that Global make.
Much better to get a Raspberry pi for a few pounds, install picoreplayer on it, enable LMS on it, and point that at your NAS files. You will then be able to keep up to date with the latest and greatest LMS version. It really is getting some fantastic developments.
Also, plugin developers then don't need to support really old LMS versions.

Hi, Thanks for coming back to me. The raspberry pi sounds like a nice idea, unfortunately the LMS is built into server that feeds a number of amps that provide sound to each room, the system is from Systemline so, my only hope is for an earlier version to work, it had been working without issue for a couple of years now. The error within the LMS plugins page states ‘Plugin failed to load” on the line in the active plugins section. Using repository URL is all a bit new to me as have only ever loaded from the listed plugins within LMS, how do I point at a specific version of your plugin? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Steve

Ah, I see.

Installing an old version of a plugin is not straight forward. you will need access to the server's file system and log onto the servers command line.
It's probably not really an option on the SystemLine.

If you look in your server.log. (settings->Advanced->Logging) in lms, you will see the error. If you send me that, we can see why it's not loading. It may not be anything to do with the version of the plugin.

SystemLine really do need to provide you with an up to date version of LMS for all sorts of reasons. A lot of changes have happened in the infrastructure since 7.9.1. 8.5.3 is really the minimum that you should be using. Have you contacted SystemLine to see if they will provide an update?
