Error running script/check.sh in Ubuntu

It fails to run...
cargo check --quiet -p eframe --no-default-features --features "glow"

with the error...
error: The platform you're compiling for is not supported by winit

Linux uname...
Linux 6.14.0-36-generic #36~24.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed Oct 15 15:45:17 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Appreciate any help to understand the issue...

Looks like this script has to be updated to do same thing as the wgpu case below.

This happens from time to time, since the script is not run in CI and most of the maintainers use macOS.
