Volume and muting problems #16
Description
This is a copy of the bug report I filed with abarisain/dmix [1]. I have the same issues with mupeace. Since there has not been any changes to dmix or to aMPD, I assume that something changed with Android, but I don't know what.

I recently started having some problems with volume control and muting behaviors while using MPDroid.
Some info:
stock Nexus Android 5.1.1, not rooted
MPDroid 1.07.2 Final ba27d2a-c (54)
aMPD 1.05, configured to NOT use mixer
The problems:
With MPDroid in the foreground and aMPD not using its mixer, I used to be able to control the volume by changing the system volume with the physical volume buttons. This doesn't work anymore. I can only change the volume this way while MPDroid is in the background or the screen is locked.
Also, playback used to stop when headphones were removed. Now, playback continues over the speaker when headphones are removed. I tested another playback app (Clean Music, doesn't use MPD) and it stopped playback correctly. It also worked in Droid MPD Client.
Since MPDroid and aMPD haven't had any recent updates, maybe changed in Android that broke whatever part of MPDroid or aMPD handle these mechanisms.
