dirty solution for importing modules

Hi,
i got this script:

common = import_common()

function Render() {
    return `render = ${common.some_value()}`
}

function import_common() {
    function some_value() {
        return 'imported value'
    }

    return {
        some_value
    }
}

I tried to extract import_common into a separate script, but no luck.
I tried with a variable in the global context, returning an object from the script and none of the methods worked.

Is there a way to resolve the import in some dirty way before the module import changes arrive?
