The most common reason for this problem is that you just installed IDEasy on your computer and are inside a terminal that was opened before the installation.
This also applies to the entire Windows Terminal application that you need to close with all tabs after you initially installed IDEasy.
This is because the IDEasy installer sets and modifies specific environment variables (PATH and IDE_ROOT) that only apply for new processes and not for existing ones (like Windows Terminal that may already be running).
Once you restarted your terminal or even rebooted your computer, this problem will be gone.
