Mobile layout optimisations

Description

• Many users - particularly in developing regions - only have a means of access to the internet via a phone.
• Many first-time internet users, especially in low- and middle-income countries, "leapfrog" desktop/laptop computing and instead adopt mobile phone immediately source
• With that in mind, it's quite likely that users of stac-map will access from a mobile device at some point.
• It would be great if Chakra can support mobile optimisations, including collapsing the expanded stac catalogue search on the left side, perhaps into a sidebar?

In general, map-based apps are quite hard to make truly responsive. We sometimes explicitly don't make responsive versions of our apps b/c it's prohibitively hard to make. I'd love a simple, mobile-enabled version of stac-map but it's going to be hard to give any mobile version feature-parity.

Yeah I agree - its a huge pain to work nicely 😅

That said, it doesn't need to be perfect, just reasonably functional (you would be surprised what level of awful UI people are willing to tolerate for both mobile accessibility and browser-based translations, when no other options. If the tool is helpful enough, it'll be used!)
