It was not obvious to me, so I tried a bit until it worked:
In Onshape
- Export as dxf Release 11-12 (at least Release 14 seems to not work with the conversion service on some designs that I had)
- Set export unit to MM
Deepnest translates dxf to svg via a conversion service, so we need to adjust some scaling settings for both, SVG & DXF.
Here is what worked for me:
The implicit part is that such onshape dxf after transformation by the deepnest-next conversion service appear to also have 72 units/in, or 2,834645669291339 units/mm (like Illustrator)
