Creates a QR code larger than it needs to be

Using the library to generate a QR code for this link: "https://domain-name.com/abcdef" with correctLevel.L the QR code produced is larger than the 25x25 blocks that the URL can fit within (verified using the tool at: https://www.labeltac.com/qr-code-generator ).

It's not "larger than it needs to be"; it has a "high" error-correction level. If you set that site to product a QR-code on "high", it will produce a code of the same size:

To set a different level, use the correctLevel key when generating a code, like the example in the README file:

Sorry missed that, but I don't think this has been touched for over a decade now - I'm using https://api.qrserver.com/v1/create-qr-code/?data=<URL> since it allows me to just get an image, idk if that helps your use-case.
