Description of the issue

libEGL warning: DRI3: Screen seems not DRI3 capable
libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate
libEGL warning: DRI3: Screen seems not DRI3 capable
MESA: error: ZINK: failed to choose pdev
libEGL warning: egl: failed to create dri2 screen

It seems that builds of the MESA drivers are included within the appimage and only used for the webkit (ie: printables page). This issue doesn't occur with the main UI itself. The issue happens when proprietary drivers on the system are in use (example system, Nintendo Switch but I imagine any other non-MESA driver system would be affected)

Hardware environment and OS that is being used to run PrusaSlicer-ARM.AppImage

• Hardware: Nintendo Switch
• OS: Ubuntu 24.04

Run software on affected hardware and navigate to the printables page

By proprietary drivers you mean the nvidia proprietary driver?

That should work without issue already, nvidia (at least on x86) makes its driver on glibc 2.11 which is very very old, so there is no problem in dlopening it.

WIth that said sharun had this issue because the nvidia driver being built againts such old glibc meant that it depends on ancient libs like libdl.so.2 and librt.so.1 which it wasn't adding.

@theofficialgman do you have issues using nvidia driver with this? It will be very weird to run this on the switch as well 😆
