fails when catalog name is too long and pushes the app name beyond the limit... this is in context of automation where control of the catalog name is not possible

potential solution: for the automated and isolated workspace deployment, where we shouldn't have any name collisions with existing assets (there are no existing assets) we can name things canonically their name without a catalog prepended

we need to look at naming conventions across the project and probably put that under a flag/global parameter to select
