Does it make sense to add this given that there's no visibility yet into the IDs of the workflow operations from which a re-run can be performed? I fear that adding this ahead of any sort of visibility support is just going to lead to a lot of questions we're not yet prepared to answer.

I agree, I don't think we need docs for this (yet).
