Thoughts: Forking an entire repo just to tweak a single whitespace isn't exactly sustainable - especially not in terms of resource usage or environmental impact.

Thoughts: Forking an entire repo just to tweak a single whitespace isn't exactly sustainable - especially not in terms of resource usage or environmental impact.

Once you decide to contribute to an open source repo with a PR, there is a minimum overhead to set everything up. You also have the option of just reporting an issue and letting existing contributors deal with the issue. It depends if you intend to continue contributing or if it is a one-off problem you want to correct.

AFAIK GitHub, together with git, is very efficient when creating copies. It's rather out-of-place to be discussing this here in general though. Cypress does however offer a Cypress community chat on Discord to link up with other users and you might find this a useful resource.
