Cronos not catching the tip

Describe the bug
After the chain started to produce blocks faster (0.5/s) our nodes are falling behind
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. download archive versiondb snapshot from Quicksync
2. run cronosd
3. node is getting blocks approximately 1/s therefore falling more behind the tip.

Expected behavior
Node slowly catching up

Server :

• OS: Ubuntu 22.04, (also tested docker and without docker setup
• Version: 1.4.9
• Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6426Y, 16 cores, 32 Threads, 128 GB RAM, 8 TB free space on NVMe
• 2 servers with ZFS, 1 server with LVM and ext4 all of them same issue

Additional context
I will provide any other required info such as config.toml etc...
