Firebot Emulate Control Sending Longer Inputs than Intended #3565

Current Behavior

Trying to setup a chat plays Pokemon thing and Firebot seems to be sending inputs that are too long (even at minimum duration) resulting in double-movement/input presses. ie: Moving up/down/left/right on any text inputs or in regular movement results in moving twice on single press. Attached video shows behavior on a keyboard overlay.

The minimum input amount being set to 0.03 seconds still results in an input that seems closer to 0.3 seconds, which is just long enough to trigger double movement (i think.) I was diagnosing this with Nikoheart on a vid call and he was seeing the same behavior (he recorded the video attached.) The example in the video was recorded without the duration set, which should be the default 0.03 seconds, but is actually more like 0.33 seconds.

Expected Behavior

The input hold duration should be exactly what is set.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Setup a emulate control effect.
  2. Set it to any key.
  3. Observe in key input viewer that it's for longer than the expected duration.

Version

5.66.7

What operating system are you using Firebot on?
