What about creating a dedicated licence file like LICENCE or COPYING?

And what type of licence is valid for authsae? BSD-3c? The wording of the the third term is a little bit different from the definition on opensource.org. See comments to my patch, that tries to add authsae to Buildroot.

Some of the files are 4-clause BSD (BSD with advertising clause). Until recently, there was some GPL code in the mix which is not compatible with that, but as of now everything is compatible. It is likely that the sae files will remain 4-clause BSD but the rest might be more permissively licensed. I'll plan on adding a license file to that effect.
