Before trying this, I tried MeloTTs, because the instructions looked easier and simpler, and it would have been, if it was not borked and made me waste several hours trying to troubleshoot it.

So, now that I tried this one, it wasn't as hard as I thought, and it even worked with a couple of short phrases. Hello, This is a test, Mike check. Since I saw it worked perfectly fine, I decided to try a larger text, 5432 characters long. Well, it failed. "Error: Failed to fetch". Alas, I think with my little 8gb of installed ram, and 6gb of vram, it's not enough to process a text this big.

At least it was pretty cool when it worked with the little sentences. GGs to whoever made this.

Best is to split into sentences, or at least smaller chunks. Coqui can handle this: https://coqui-tts.readthedocs.io/en/latest/models/xtts.html#id2
