xttsv2, free/paid? company is shutting down? what would happen now?

As per docs, xttxv2 is not free for commercial use. But I read coqui.ai is going down now. Then I can use this in commercial? Also should I use this assuming no other updates will come now?

XTTS is licensed under the CPML:

This license allows only non-commercial use of a machine learning model and its outputs.

But this fork you mentioned mentioning MPL license, that means now your fork can be used commercially which is again XTTS only?

That is the license of the source code. Pretrained models usually have different licenses that are listed in https://github.com/idiap/coqui-ai-TTS/blob/dev/TTS/.models.json
