Helm Chart Release?

I couldn't find an existing issue about this.

When will a new version of the helm chart be released? The last release is 1.0.0 from june 2024...

Hey @cwrau 👋 starting from v1.0.0 CLASTIX doesn't publish Helm Charts publicly, but rather, on a subscription basis, following a similar model to Linkerd.

You can build Helm Charts on your own, or activate a subscription to get OCI images (LTS-based, always based from upstream) along with their related OCI Helm Charts.

Although I'm a bit puzzled about your downvote @cwrau, considering this mechanism is pretty similar to what Linkerd is doing with its artefact release and bore by CNCF too which has strict requirements when it comes to Open Source, I just wanted to share that thanks to #805 we're now shipping latest release of Helm Charts.

helm upgrade --install kamaji clastix/kamaji --namespace kamaji-system --create-namespace --set 'resources=null' --version 0.0.0+latest

Usage of this Helm Chart is not recommended for production use, we'll continue with providing stable artefacts of Hels Chart and OCI as a way to monetize our project and help us get bills paid.

If you plan to use Kamaji in production, the best way to keep the project alive is to engage with its vendor to make Open Source sustainable.
